Nojorono Group - Kudus
PT Nojorono Kudus is an Indonesian kretek (clove) cigarette company. The company was founded in 1932, in Pati, Central Java, as a partnership company. In the early of 1970's, Nojorono expanded its business and to Kudus, Central Java and upgraded its business entity into a private limited company.

In the early of its establishment, Nojorono employed only about 1,000 employees. The number of employees today increased to around 13,000 in 2006.

The biggest innovation made and patented by Nojorono is the invention of water-splash resistant cigarette. This advantages makes Nojorono cigarette products very popular among sailors and fishermen in Indonesia.
PT Nojorono Kudus today has grown into a holding company of three subsidiaries, they are: PT Nojorono Tobacco Indonesia (commonly known as PT NTI) – the manufacturer company of the famous lasermild kretek cigarette Clas Mild; PT Nikorama Citra Tobacco – produces Nikko, Matra, and Marathon cigarettes; and PT Nikki Super Tobacco – produces Nikki cigarettes. The holding company itself produces the legendary hand rolled kretek cigarette Minak Djinggo. All the brands is marketed under the co-name of Nojorono Group Kudus.
