Yayasan Puteri Indonesia

Yayasan Puteri Indonesia (YPI) is an organization founded in 1992 to house the Puteri Indonesia beauty contest. Puteri Indonesia (literally translated as Princess of Indonesia) will be the ambassador of the nation in a variety of events at national forums and internationally to introduce Indonesia's Tourism, Culture, Economy, and Commodity Trading.

YPI held a number of educational programs and training include: Mooryati Soedibyo Institute of Education and Training (LPPMS), Social Work, and the event of Puteri Indonesia itself which is held annually.

Some of the contestants of Puteri Indonesia could also be elected as Ambassador of BNN (National Narcotics Agency), Ambassador of the National Commission for Child Protection (PA), Ambassador Committee on AIDS, and the Ambassador of the Environment (for Runner up I).
